Market- Specific Instructions
- Because this is a sustainability- focused fair, double check that your packaging and products comply with the sustainability requirements.
- CHOMP is a sustainability focused event, no single use plastics or styrofoam. Use of recyclable and reusable packaging and display items is highly encouraged.
- Canopies must include a fire rating (typically listed on the inside tag of your canopy) of NFPA 701 and CPAI-84 material. Canopies without a fire rating will be removed. One shade umbrella in lieu of a canopy is acceptable without a fire rating.
Parents:
- DO NOT engage the customers, answer questions or handle money. DO help your child do all of those things!
- Parents MAY NOT prepare or serve food- everything must be done by the child.
- Sit in the back of the booth and act like you’re not there! At the heart of this experience is for your child to do the selling.
